Yesterday was Walker’s Birthday! He’s my favorite villager—he never ceases to amuse me and bring a smile to my face. I wish you could make actual holiday ordinances as mayor, but this will have to do: it’s now a town holiday in Verastra, wuh

Arden’s hair is pink because I’ve been watching Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii, heheh. Working on matching outfits for Arden and Vale based on one of the main couples, Narumi and Hirotaka.
There’s been a bunch of changes in Verastra lately: the landscaping, Arden’s hair color, the Plaza Tree…
If only someone would give me the picnic set pwp (come on, Canberra... either that, or the wisteria trellis...) I’m gonna miss the cherry blossom season...
Annnnnd, on Monday, it was Frobert’s turn on the heart stump! ... Um.... Frobert, how are you doing that when your legs are dangling off...? #shortpeopleproblems
My second special stump is right by Nan’s house, with a heart symbol—which is quite fitting for Arden’s BFF. Lately, this stump is quite popular with the villagers, so it was so cute to see Nan asleep on it this time. She gets up before everyone else (6:00 am, kid???) so I don’t blame her for dozing off at all.
I gave my mayor my birthday, mainly so that I could celebrate it in-game, haha. I knew that K.K. Slider would perform something special on the Saturday before a resident’s birthday, but I didn’t know it would happen unprompted! (Also, it makes me giggle whenever K.K. calls Arden “kitten”.) The past few weeks have been a little rough, but little things like this in ACNL make me smile, if only for a moment.
I’ve been looking forward to the trees in the park area to fully grow in, and cherry blossom petals are falling! It makes for a pretty sight.
