French anon here. No problem with giving you some info, even though I don't know everything either. For example you reblogged a post about the Muslim man who helped hostages in the shop in Vincennes was barely talked about in the news. In France, the news covers it all the time these days, to the point of talking TOO MUCH about the events WHILE it's happening. btw BFM TV is a very important source and not just a small french website so you can trust them. There are so many things to say :/
checked op of the post and they dont live in france so thats why. international news outlets arent reporting much about 'smaller' (for lack of better word) attacks related to charlie hebdo, which is why people are making false assumptions about the coverage in france. but that really shouldnt be an excuse, since research is important, especially when spreading info about something so substantial as this. i guess its better to hear from the voice of a french citizen about media coverage over there, rather than being hasty with making posts about this. but thank you for clarifying anon, it was a big help!
