no really. i've never seen someone so in love with a character. just by your post i can tell you have deep emotions for him--i think thats truly amazing to have such love for a character.

why feel sorry for amon? he's horrible.
out of character; I don't think he is. If Amon is telling the truth about what he says and a fire-bender killed his family and then burned him, it makes you think, WHAT WOULD YOU DO? Would you sit around and think "I can't believe this happened?" Would you sit around feeling sorry for yourself and hiding away from the word? It's true that you could have done both, but events like that CHANGE PEOPLE, it makes them see things; the world in a different view. So let's say it did happen AMON decided instead of doing nothing he was going to go out and make a change, even if WE see it as a bad one. You have see things FROM HIS POINT of view. So his childhood event, PLUS we can assume Amon reads history (LOL) that can also show benders using their powers for "war" and whatnot. So due to events in his past and the readings of history, you can't really blame Amon.I'm not agreeing with what he is doing, but--I can't be mad at him either.But, that's just what I think.
