no matter how much he thinks about it, it has to be something like fate. how could both he and eunae get each other for secret santa? the trainee (and santa) signs were most definitely pointing to them being friends –– and it’s kinda weird how they’re not great friends... yet.
eunae’s gift had been great, really. a memorable christmas card and a ditto shirt –– jaehyun was sure that the both of them would get along well. he’s heard about eunae from yeri too; though he’d never actually have thought that eunae would day be debuting in a royal girl group.
as he catches sight of eunae during lunch, he walks up to the girl, all smiles, before he finds himself sitting opposite her. “hey!” he greets. “thanks for the present. i really liked it!” he beams, “oh and the shirts too those were nice,” he adds playfully. it’s odd really, because he already feels at ease with eunae (maybe it’s got something to do with the fact that they both had yeri as a common thread). “no, but really, that was a really great gift idea. i don’t know how you could’ve thought that up!”
