“oh! you like animals, too, then?” oblivious to what furry actually means, just knows she heard his friend call him that and just by looking at the tall lanky boy she could tell that was wasn’t very hairy, so that meaning wasn’t an option and therefore all that was left was the idea that he was talking about something relating to animals. maybe the boy was as much as an animal lover as she was! how lovely! He was so going to kill Michael later. Said boy was trying, and failing, to contain his snickers so Jeremy gave him a little shove away. He would have been more worried if this girl asked the dreaded question– what’s a furry?– and he would have to stumble through some kind of explanation and/or excuse. Fortunately Jeremy only had to stumble through a vague response and pray the conversation would end there.
“Y-Yeah! I mean, who doesn’t like a-animals? I’ve been- I’ve been thinking about adopting a c-cat lately, and, uhh. …Yeah.”

Squishes Niko's cheeks
This is new.
The first thing that swayed Niko was how dark this boy’s heart was. It would have made Niko feel sick had it not been for the hands on his face distracting him. Squishing his face up like a kitten Niko whined, “Uwaaaaah, hey! C’moooon!” Niko raised his hands to swat the other away then gently massage his cheeks. “Do you do this to everyone you meet? Uuu... My skin’s gonna get all red now.”
