Kurai's initial reaction was to shrink back away from Toriel. Ears flying back and trying to look small. It was a subconscious habit from what happened to him before, so it took a moment before he was able to huff and purposely reach over to push his plate even further.

He didn't look willing to clean his mess. Not that he really knew how to either beyond eating it and he refused to do that. "No... I don't... I don't wanna!"

And there he goes flipping the plate.

The door opening caused Kurai's ears to swivel before he turned when he heard Frisk's voice. It had been long enough that it didn't look like Kurai had cried recently, but it was obvious he was very tired and not quite happy.

The hedgehog opened his mouth as if to lie and say he was fine, but soon it just turned into a frown and a shake of his head. A gentle hand moving to his neck where it was mostly healed before he turned away. "...Just a bad dream."

Eventually I'd like a thread where Andie and Kurai are both in it. I have so much fun comparing the two.

Especially considering each have at least one adoption verse which changes their relationship from the mainverse.
