Simon was used to getting into scraps with people. He had come to the conclusion he had gained the attention of some group and they really wanted him dead. At least he thought so? They weren't exactly gentle when they fought him.

This time he watched those that decided to engage him scramble off as he gave a growl. Must've been a bunch of newbies who didn't know what they were getting into since they were far too scared when he decided to show off his fangs and take a bit out of one of them.

"Ugh..." He stuck his tongue out in disgust once they had ran out of sight. "I really need to find a way to get rid of those guys..."

Imagine being Shadow and your daughter comes out fine and seems pretty normal and not strange and how much relief that is because you weren't even sure if you could have kids much less if they would come out normal considering your DNA.

And then her kids come out with the strange mutations and high Chaos energy that you were afraid of.

"Shhhh!" The teenager's voice sounded much harsher than he intended as he was rocking the child. It was stressful enough that Simon just had to get away from a dangerous situation with her, but on top of trying to calm a five year old as she full on wails?

This was nuts.

"Maria please..." He gave a sigh as the younger Mobian nuzzled her face into his jacket. There was a flick of Simon's tail before he glanced around. It looked like those that were trying to cause trouble weren't anywhere near them for now. "Shhh.... it's okay. We're okay."

Simon volunteered to watch the girls.
