‘Cause it’s that time of the year. You’ve all been studying so hard, and exams are finally out of the way so of course, in order to give you all a beautiful break and reduce your stress, we’re taking you to the beach!
Pack your bags with all the essentials. Sunscreen, bathing suits, towels - the works. You’ll be here for an entire week. But don’t worry. If you’ve forgotten something, there are nearby stores that may help you reacquire them!
And don’t you worry. We’ve got a couple of fun activities planned out for all of you. Mostly during the last few days. So be sure to get excited!
Event Period: May 28th - June 3rd
Activities: Beach Volleyball, Water Fights, Pier Performances (music and drama discipline students get to show off), Scavenger Hunt (TBA) and etc*.
Do note that things such as the volleyball game, water fight and performances can be turned into threads if you wish but it’s not a necessity. Just see it as a dash awareness/musing thing if you wish. Scavenger Hunt related information will be posted soon.
*There’s probably more things happening on the beach that’ll be posted about throughout the week. Also, there’ll be a late-night bonfire session on one of the final days as a tribute to seniors that are graduating.
Attention students and staff. As you can see outside your window, a snowstorm has hit the academy. Please be sure to keep warm during this sudden change of weather. We will be ensuring that heating is provided throughout the academy. If you plan on traversing from one building to the next, be sure to be wear appropriate gear.
This is for the regular UWAA AU. You may post dash awareness/musings if you wish, or include this little event within your roleplays. It is not compulsory however!
Quick note! In the lore of the AU, it was stated that the last war took place 50 years ago. We’ll be changing it up to the last war being roughly 100 years ago instead. This way, any creature muse that is currently 1XX would have not been able to fully remember what took place, as they would’ve been too young to be a part of it during the time.
Remember this event runs from April 10th to April 30th! If you wish to post information on your muse then feel free to do so! We’d love to know more about how you see your muse in this particular universe, their role within the kingdom they reside in and what they are!
Note: There will be ‘mini events’ from time to time, whether it be little mishaps within the kingdom/s or announcements made by the kings.
Main post and additional information can be found here!
During the 10th of April until the 30th of April, we will conducting an AU event that takes place during Medieval times. All those who have participated in the activity check have notified us of which muses will be participating, as well as the kind of species they wish to be.
Do note that if you wish to change your muse from a human to a creature, vice versa or not have them participate at all, then all is fine with us. Just do not do the changes mid-roleplay. Once you’ve begun roleplaying your muse as whichever you’ve chosen, you must stick to it for the remainder of the event unless they were originally a human put under some kind of spell that is temporary, etc, that made them the way they are (and vice versa, again).
You are more than welcome to put regular AU threads on hold or continue them during the event. We will not make you drop everything for this event.
Remember to tag the event accordingly, along with any mention of triggers. We’d also prefer people to put any violence related matters (if you wish to do some kind of fighting or injury kind of thing) under read more and tag it, just to be safe. Same goes with anything sexual.
Hear ye! Hear ye! All ye Knights, Nobles and Citizens of Pararizon! Here you will find information in regards to Pararizon, our King, the layout of the kingdom and information on life of those within our righteous Kings’ land!

Views on Vervanians (Creatures)
01 - The King:
Pararizon is ruled by a strong, 'righteous' and old widowed king. Those within the kingdom know him to be a fair and kind ruler, who wishes for nothing more than for peace within the kingdom. Hailing from a line of royalty and absolute prestige, the king does a grand job in ensuring the needs of his citizens are well met. Like with all of royalty, he has a Royal Advisor and knights of his very own 'round table' that aid him in his royal duties (note that you may have your muse as one of the twelve knights of the ‘round table’ - you’ll be working closely with the king).
02 - The Kingdom Layout:
The kingdom itself is quite large. To go from one end to another, it would take many hours and often, horse rides and the use of carriages are well advised for a safe and less tiring trip. Within the kingdom, there are something in the like of little ‘towns’ - five to be exact - that all have their own ‘mayors’ that respectfully obey orders of the king. Each town is known for their own special thing. Whether it be from being the town for music and festivals to that of being a town focused on growing crops and producing the rest of the kingdom with plant and animal produce - each town is special.
Within the very center of the kingdom stands the castle of the king. It’s large in size, holding hundreds of rooms. There are five towers in total, one on each corner and a center one made specifically for the king’s own use. In front of the castle, past the bridge that serves as an entry to the castle, there is a rather big empty space that serves as the ‘main plaza’. This is where all royal focused festivals in which citizens of Pararizon are able to partake in, take place. It is also the area in which public punishments are held, but let’s not focus on that.
Aside from all that, what the rest of the kingdom looks like, what it has to offer and how it ‘feels’ will all depend on what you want it to be. Artistic liberty, folks!
03 - Pararizonians & Roles:
Pararizonians nowadays are primarily those who have not witnessed the last war within Pararizon and Vervania, therefore they are rather clueless on what had happened in the past, aside from what they are told by the older generation and stories told during Pararizon’s day of ‘harmony’. After the treaty had been made between the two kingdoms, citizens continue their lives without needing to associate themselves with the creatures.
In terms of roles and jobs, your muse is free to be whatever they wish to be. You are more than welcome to pick up the role of a knight of the king, an assassin, rogue and the such. Or you could be that of a blacksmith, physician, priest/priestess, a humble farmer - the works. The only roles/jobs you are not permitted to have are those that deal with our modern technology (so being a technician is kind of, you know, not possible).
You are not allowed to be a person who deals with magic - witches are often burned during these times, and those who deal with magic are seen as being part of the ‘creatures’ rather than that of human.
04 - View on Vervanians (Creatures):
Those of Pararizon (aside from the King) happen to fear and/or detest the creatures. They know they exist. Albeit they do not come into contact with them on a regular basis, or at all - they fear/detest them. Old stories passed on throughout the years and historical scripture said to be the ‘absolute truth’ by those of royalty are what they believe in the most.
To them, creatures belong away from humans and if by any chance, a creature happens to stumble across their path or within the kingdom itself, then they will be taken to the king in an instant. Why? Because to them, the creatures are dangerous and vile beings. Even if you’re just a humble fairy, you’re seen as a threat and as ‘breaking the treaty’ made after the war.
Throughout the kingdom, it isn’t odd to see ‘wanted’ signs for those of human criminals and creatures. Although the king states that there is peace within both kingdoms, those of Pararizon remain to be in fear or loathe them. And because of this, they would rather see them dead.
Creatures are not safe within the walls of the kingdom, nor are humans that oppose this common view. Pararizonians believe that, if you support or care for a creature (or stumble across one and aid them in some way), you have been corrupted and put under a devilish spell.
If you have any questions, feel free to send an ask to the main blog!
Come, little one. It's time to sit and listen to the songs weaved by our ancestors and the mystical ones. In their songs you will find information in regards to Vervania, our Elf King, the layout of the kingdom and information on life of those within our tranquil forest.

01 - The Elf King:
It is rare for elves to be males, and whenever one is born, they are often raised and given appointed the role of being the advisory to their queen. However, many years ago, the late queen had passed away leaving a single request in her name and that was to make her advisor and her best friend the next ruler of the kingdom. This happened four hundred years ago and until now, he remains to be the king. His time of reign is, however, coming to an end and as of late, he has been in search of a new leader within the Elves to take his place - he eyes the 'queen' of the elves, the female elf that has been bestowed the title of such grace though still sees her somewhat unfit to rule. Until then, he continues his rule; his life slowly fading like the color within the leaves before autumn passes by.
Like with the king of Pararizon, the Elf King also has his own 'table of knights' except there is no table and his knights are not coated in steel armor. From each specie, he has one to two people he sees as their leaders - a creature that represents them as a whole and hereby grants them the title of 'knight'. Those 'knights' work closely with the Elf King and his elven advisors to ensure safety for all the creatures of Vervania.
02 - The Kingdom Layout:
The forest of Vervania lies quite a long way from Pararizon. Albeit outside of Pararizon is already the forest itself, the Vervanian's territory does not begin until much further within and often than not, is guarded by a magic spell put there by the mystical beings of Vervania to ensure no trespassers are able to infiltrate. When humans step foot into Vervania, they'll tend to feel rather woozy and lose their sense of direction to the point that walking forward would only lead them back to where they originally came from. Of course, this magic isn't exactly stable - mostly as of late, hence why there have been a few sightings of Humans within Vervania. When this happens however, most creatures tend to hide to make it seem like there is no life within the forest aside from nature itself.
Unfortunately, there isn't all too much to explain in terms of the layout. It's a forest - there are paths that lead to lakes, rivers and open areas in which creatures reside in, enabling them to go on about their own society. There are also a few underground paths built by them which lead to secret areas, homes and the such. When it comes to Vervania, artistic liberty is key. If you believe there is a cobblestone tower covered by moss in which a mage resides in, then there probably is one. There's a pond in which a water spirit lives in? Then yes, there is one! The forest is large, vast - it covers such great land. Anything is possible.
03 - Vervanians, Roles & Creature Species:
Vervania is filled with creatures that have seen new generations come and go. There are some that have lived on for decades to centuries and others that are quite young and new to this world. Stories of the past and ancient times are often told to those within the kingdom. Tales of their ancestors, the wars. All of it weaved into songs and power hymns. Even if you never took part in the war, through the songs, you're able to feel the pain and distraught that those who partook in the war had experienced. Because of this, Vervanians tend to deal with things much more differently in comparison to the humans. Their knowledge of what took place is more vast but as with everything, is biased - though one does not mention this.
They, as a whole, tend to live in harmony and have great synergy with each other. Of course, there are a few clashes and banter here and there between those of different creature species but at the end of the day, a truce is always made and things end smoothly. From magic, to strength, to soothing music and incredible knowledge. The creatures put all of their skills to use to aid one another and at times, even humans that may somehow find themselves lost within Vervania (unless the creature is one that despises them but that's another story).
In terms of jobs/roles, they are free to be whatever they wish to be. You think only the humans have a blacksmith? No. The creatures have their own blacksmith. Often it's centaurs that do this though anyone is able to take up the task if they wish. The same goes with roles for things such as doctors, entertainers, farmers - the works. Anything is possible as long as you have the patience and will to learn. Species-wise, there's quite a range that reside within Vervania. From small pixies to that of orcs.
Due to magic being seen as a thing of the 'creatures', even humans who tamper with magic become outcasts of Pararizon and are welcomed into Vervania. Here, they're able to learn what it means to be a mage and succeed in things such as potion making and basic magic. Though, seeing as they are humans, they will not be able to fully outshine a creature born with magical ability. Those born with magic flowing through their veins to begin with tend to have human forms but alas, not even they are safe from the fear and rage of Pararizonians.
The only creatures that are not allowed within Vervania (or this AU as a whole) are those whose purpose is that of pure lust (i.e. Succubus). If the creature you have chosen as a strong focus on sexual advances, then we advise you either choose something else or try to not make it the focus. Make them.. want to understand the world from another perspective where sexual advances are not the answer.
04 - Views on Pararizonians (Humans):
Much like those of Pararizon, the Vervanians as a whole fear them and are wary. Detest? Perhaps a few of them do but it's a common view for those in Vervania to simply be cautious. They will not turn away a Pararizon who is in need to help and will do all they can to aid them, as long as it does not hinder the creature kingdom in any way. Most of the creatures are gentle and mind their own business.
But of course, if a Pararizon comes within their kingdom and shows themselves in a threatening manner, then the Vervanians will not hesitate to try to cast them out of the forest. They'll try in first, a civil and kind way but if all else fails, then force and violence may need to be resorted to - even if it's against what they want. Vervanians would rather turn a blind eye to those of Pararizon, seeing as humans tend to be rash about their decisions and allow their fear and unjustified hatred to consume them.
There are, however, creatures that find those of Pararizon to be intrguing. Some may wish for friendship, wish to learn from them or even wish for love. Time and time again, it has happened. And time and time again, things have gone wrong. From betrayal to being torn apart by others around them. A relationship, whether platonic or romantic, between the two are often seen as a sinful act and therefore, it is shunned. Depending on the kind of creature you are, there tends to be a form of.. punishment placed upon those who seek for more than just aiding the humans. Of course, this doesn't stop the creatures who find interest in them, but alas, that road is a trivial and messy one.
Mind you, what is stated here is merely the general/common view - each muse will obviously see the humans in their own way. Whether you wish for them to fear them, find interest in them or wish to lure them into danger is all up to you.

The Tale of Two Kingdoms: Pararizon & Vervania [AU]
This is a LORE post!
This event’s duration will be from April 10th to April 30th.
Greed. A deadly sin - one of seven, but one of the worst. Greed is something both mankind and creatures have hidden within their soul. It doesn't matter what kind it is - for land, wealth, power or even love. Greed is ever-present even in the holiest of creatures and those entrusted to be leaders of the world. And what happens when one's soul is devoured by their greed?
WAR.
The world was so vast, and two kingdoms - Pararizon (The Kingdom of Humans) and Vervania (The Kingdom of Creatures) - fought for ownership of the land. Time and time again, they would fight with one kingdom claiming victory. Then again, it would happen. Again and again, and again until the lands continued to be split apart. But no matter how much land was taken away from the opposing kingdom, in the end, neither could decide who the world truly belonged to, nor would they accept that the world could not belong to either of them at all.
It wasn't always like this. There was a time when both the kingdoms coexisted. Together, they were unstoppable and resourceful to one another. The leaders lived in harmony but alas, the moment greed became ones virtue, all else went to suffer along with it.
Currently -- roughly a hundred years since the last outbreak of war -- those of Vervania are left with land so scarce and a limitation on gaining a prosperous future. All creatures and mystical beings not accepted by mankind find themselves nestled within the center of a far off forest, located in the distant outskirts of Pararizon. Most of the older generation have long since passed leaving only a few willing to teach and lead the young and oblivious.
Then there's the king of Pararizon. Albeit a treaty was made between both kingdoms after the last feud, the king continues to lead his army in a way that has them scouting out - traversing the land - in search of the settlement of Vervanians. But for what purpose? Only those closest to him are aware of what he truly seeks and wants from them. Everyone else? The people of Pararizon? Clueless. To them, the war ended not in a treaty but rather, victory. In the eyes of Pararizonians, all the 'beasts' were dealt with - fear would no longer be something they'd have to suffer with.
But.. in reality, who should they be fearing? Creatures who wish to continue to coexist with mankind and share melodies of their past or their greed stricken king who, despite agreeing on a peace treaty with the Vervania kingdom, continues to seek them out and capture them for a secret purpose?
