Eddy Atlantis Releases His Debut DP '$ymbol'
After starting his music career in the film industry Eddy spent his teenage years learning and working in East End recording studios with artists such as “Roll Deep//Black Slate//Matty Benbrook and Gentlemens Dub Club. He has been writing and producing in the background for the past 5 years for artists like Xander Ghost//Chloe Leone//Alecs and 11VEN.
‘$ymbol’ from ‘Boxroom Mansion’ is Eddy’s Debut EP in which he uses influences from Travis Scott, Toro y Moi and Pheonix to form music using 70′s inspired synths with futuristic drum sequences, programming and an unorthodox method of recording vocals.
Although we cannot place Eddy’s music into one genre that does not take away from the magnetism of the song. With distorted vocals it brings originality to the industry and that’s much more enticing to us. His lyrical theme of love and money will undoubtedly bring in fans from around the world.
We know when there’s a star on the rise and believe us when we say he’s shooting up fast!
