"are you kidding?" mal said with a roll of her eyes. "well i guess it could be worse. but i left my spell book a home. what should we do?" she asked uma who she'd started walking with.

audrey decided she’d take a break from the dance floor. truthfully her dress was very large and it was making her a tad bit too hot for her liking. standing off to the side, audrey smiled to the person next to her. “hey, have we met before?” audrey questioned, the other’s face looked eerily familiar.

"you made these?" kaz questioned, though his opinion was hard to gather on his face, he didn't dislike what he was trying.

"you've got colorful hair." wyatt pointed out, hoping it didn't sound rude. he was used to the capital having more colors but in dc it seemed a little less common. "it looks nice.

"you know, you've really stepped up your fashion sense since being here." audrey offered to the other genuinely, though her features still had her a bit guarded.

"hey, uma." as far as carlos knew, her and his friends had left things on a positive note. and he didn't see why that would be any different here. "what you got there?" they were always a bit nosy, curious what other people were working on or found interesting.

mal twirled the ring on her finger as she stared at the screen. "i don't get it." mal gestured to the tv. "it's supposed to be a love story and everything but like that dude doesn't even look remotely interesting."
