"did you ever think maybe she's cheating on you?" the female spoke with a roll of the eyes, annoyed at how oblivious the other had been lately.
"who was that?" the female inquired, stepping out from the bedroom as she heard the front door slam shut. "why'd you slam the door??" she continued arms crossing over her chest, clearly bothered by the others actions.
she had been driving herself into a downward spiral, some how managing to hide the random early morning vomits,mood swings, and dizziness for the last four weeks. though the reason was her sudden onset symptoms went unnoticed because leo's sudden change in work schedule.but here she was passing back and forth in the bedroom, the positive second positive stick tapping away at her skin.
"fuck ──"
she breathed, completely baffled that something like this could have happened. it was a one in a million chance, that's what her doctor said. her brain had been tearing itself apart in attempts to think up some way to tell her boyfriend the surprising news. her attention was drawn up to the sudden presence of someone else in the room. in a quick movement she shoved the stick into her back pocket eyes trailing up to meet the others eyes. now or never.
"hey baby."
she greeted, pressing a gentle kiss to the other's cheek.her small hands brushed against his for a moment as she took a moment to appreciate the other's early arrive.
"uhm──can we talk?"
she urged nervously, head begining to spin quickly genesis wasn't even sure at this point if it was from the pregnancy or from her nerves but she sat down quickly on the edge of the bed. a small breath passed her lips.
"you're speaking and i'm not listening ── i hope you realize that."
"───i need you. i fucking need you and that scares the shit out of me. i've never needed anyone else in my life and you just waltz in and change everything for me"
