Jungshin had thrown himself back on the seat in a fit of laughter. “That’s so dumb that it’s funny,” he gave her credit and calmed down gradually. “I had no idea you had this jokester talent. Impressive.” 

She scoffed, and crossed her arms as she watched the male’s response to her little joke.  ❝ Hey, from your reaction, am I that of a nojam type of person to you?? ❞ she asks, incredulous.  ❝ I’m offended. I’m the funniest person I know!  ❞

“ You being one out of on million. Everyone assumes holidays or birthday celebrations are meant to be a huge affair with crowds of people, I’d prefer to spend it alone. I don’t see the need to make turning a year older into such a big deal. But, maybe that’s just the old man in me. ” Shoulders lift then, upwards before falling back into their original slack place. Conversation spewing from simple words, though mostly out of his own opinion. As a young child, he’d grown accustom to those far off days alone, it wasn’t any big deal, really.

Out of anything, he still pondered over something .. “Is your birthday soon, then? Or were you speaking in general? To be clear. ”

❝ Hm. I see what you mean there. ❞ He did make perfect sense; why would you celebrate a day of you turning old, every year? There wasn’t really much sense in that, she realized.  ❝ Maybe it’s congratulating one for being closer to one’s death bed... who knows? ❞  she asks, a lopsided grin appearing on her face.  ❝ my birthday? ❞ she tilted her head. ❝ My birthday isn’t until... ❞ she mentally counted. 

❝ ...nine months from today. ❞

Ahh yes, hand holding. Sounds dandy. It’s always a great idea to hold someone’s hand. I love this so much. But- Perhaps you’re wishing for a specific someone’s hand to hold? I wonder who might you be, and who might the specific someone be, too.

❝ Song Yunhyeong…? ❞ A tentative stare was on Haeun’s tiny face. She was puzzled; the male was walking alongside Haeun- they were on their way to their company’s building, when he just suddenly stopped right in front of her and executed a perfect 90 degree bow, and then walked off as if nothing happened. ❝ What the heck was that?? ❞ Her brows furrowed at him, and she crossed her arms as she continued to walk.

She hoped. ❝ I would... most likely be in a loooong denial stage. That’s for sure. ❞ she laughed slightly, though the thought lingering in her head, and she knew it would stay there for a dire time. ❝ About what I would do next, that’s where i’m not so sure... ❞ her lips puckered at this, thinking of all the possibilities; there’s not much. She was young, and if her career was taken away from her, she wouldn’t know what she would be doing first.
