jihoon is manager of the crow's nest, so of course, his primary job is making everything run smoothly. he makes sure the employees are doing their jobs, picks up any work that no one can tend to, and makes sure his customers are happy. jihoon is hardworking, and in his heart, takes running things very seriously.
on the outside, he's a little more light-hearted though, or at least he tries to be. it's a little more difficult these days, given recent events (departures and absences, and all kinds of emotions he'd rather not face.) he's a little more somber lately, but he tries to push his typical bright persona, and to sell it like he always used to. he uses it to gain trust, appearing friendly and chipper to put others in a better mood, amiable and engaging.
sometimes, part of keeping customers happy involves gossiping when he can justify taking a break. okay, maybe it just makes jihoon happy.
regardless, as a neutral hub favored by gangs, all people of all sorts walk in and out of the crow's nest's doors, and jihoon is nosy by trade. that, combined with his cunning and manipulative nature, assures that his ears are always peeled for information that may be of use to him. besides that, he's simply nosy. he likes going on, like it gives him a little extra leverage and control, and if there's anything jihoon loves, it's control.
sometimes jihoon's penchant to only spill frivolous information isn't welcome to those expecting to get more from him, and he meets with plenty of those types. jisoo, however, isn't one, and he finds the tidbits she gathers by working at the casino fascinating; ultimately unimportant, but fascinating.
his eyes flicker to a man at the table a safe distance from theirs. "you see him? actually, don't look." jihoon's smile is a little wicked. "he's going through a divorce. his wife was cheating on him with two different men. oh, the humanity!"
