Excitement practically oozed out of Kisumi as his fingers drummed impatiently against his steering wheel. He was currently having an intense stare-down with the red light which prevented him from furthering his vehicle; Kisumi had always thought the red lights in the city lasted far too long. It wasn’t often that he took his own car─ usually he walked or took the bus. But this was a special occasion: the weekend he’d been looking forward to was finally here. Camping with Sousuke was definitely something to look forward to.
The light changed, signaling Kisumi could finally be on his way. Sousuke’s apartment wasn’t far from his own which made things all that much easier. He had the backseat mostly filled with camping supplies and his own luggage with some space for Sousuke’s bag and the front seat reserved for Sousuke himself. Kisumi’s mind was kept busy as he blared music; he’d be much too impatient otherwise. Soon enough, the male was pulling into Sousuke’s apartment complex with a grin upon his expression. Once pulled in, Kisumi quickly swiped his phone into an unlocked state and sent a quick text to Sousuke announcing his arrival: I’m here, and I’m coming in!
Just as his text read, Kisumi made his way to Sousuke’s room number and placed a few quick knocks onto the door. Without waiting for a reply, Kisumi moved to test whether the door was unlocked or not, promptly letting himself in.
“Sou-su-ke~!” Kisumi called out in a sing-song voice, emphasizing each syllable of his name, “I hope you’re ready to head out, I’m only in the fifteen-minute guest parking!” he sought out the other, his words half joking and half serious.
Yea, he’d been ready for this for days.
