matchstick (any pronouns), the sunset's stage engineer! sticks is a brilliant engineer- they take care of lighting, rigging, and props, and, when they can convince gawain to allow it, pyrotechnics. they're very tall, the tallest at the sunset, and far stronger than their stick-insect-esque proportions imply. they've terrified many a visiting performer, lurking at the end of a hall, towering and long-limbed.
sticks is very cautious with their work, but past the sunset's walls, they're an absolute maniac who'll do anything- anything- on a dare. or if they think it would be cool. or funny. or to see what happens.

Does Sticks give good hugs? He's very friend-shaped
they do! they're very careful with their claws and bony elbows, and they're always sure to be gentle. c: they like giving the "pick you up and squeeze" kind of hugs. excellent both for showing affection and incapacitating potential threats!
in a theater built by imperials, sticks still has to duck under every door frame. gawain, the second tallest, is ~7ft tall, and sticks towers over him, easily 8ft or more. that plus their wire-thin proportions, wide eyes, constant toothy smile, and habit of wandering the pitch-dark theater at night, they'd be absolutely terrifying if they weren't so nice. they're... they're still pretty terrifying anyway.
they and sycamore are pretty good friends! sticks often walks performers through their set while syc does their makeup. it's kinda funny to see them hang out- sticks being this slenderman-esque shape and syc ringing in at 4 foot 5.
spark and pyrrha really like them too, their chaos levels mesh very nicely. pyrrha fears nothing on this planet, and she enjoys fire, so she and sticks got along pretty immediately. spark, though. spark... look, he's small and jumpy, and sticks is. sticks.
