big ol' post compiling all my thoughts on niigo design for the uh. criminal au. or whatever it is.
Mid twenties? Maybe. Somewhere around there. It isn't that relevant. Kanade is still smaller than everyone who works for her. That's what matters.
25 (name pending) is the name of the collective four within the entire gang that consists of the boss (Kanade) and her three most trusted bodyguards and confidants (Mizuki, Mafuyu, and Ena). Mafuyu comes in later, for a while it's just Mizuki and Ena. There are more people working for Kanade as well. (waves dismissively). Nobody actually can confirm for sure why 25 are so close to each other, though the truth is in fact, that they're romantically involved with one another (all of them. scary funny polycule. polyniigo).
I don't know if Miku is here too yet or not. I'm tempted. I can see her not as someone who fights for her but maybe an advisor or something like that. Maybe she handles the finances i dont know. ill figure it out. Honestly she's also weirdly close to Kanade too. God damn are they dating too? Where's the boss getting all that rizz. Anyway.
I dont know the name of the entire gang yet. I dont know. ill take suggestions but i dont know yet. It was a poorly treated group of people under its former boss, who honestly had ulterior motives for many of his lackies. After getting involved with Ena and Mizuki, Kanade wanted them to be free of his shit treatment. Got herself in trouble with him for getting involved with his lackies at all, but Mizuki and Ena helped Kanade not only get out of a hairy situation, but inadvertently they kill him in the process, leaving the business in Kanade's hands ultimately. Uh oh.
Despite that the transition goes well. Kanade is strangely quick to adapt to this, and strangely great at getting everyone to respect and listen to her. Congrats all of these people will now die for you. Her primary rule is that she no longer encourages killing as a quick option. They must try to resolve conflicts and disputes as peacefully as possible to maintain some semblance of peace in the city while they're still in control of what they protect. This doesnt always go well. Violence still happens. Handle it quickly and cleanly. Make sure the boss doesn't need to dirty her own hands (she didnt establish that rule, they did).
Kanade:
Swaps between her usual casual clothes, a black suit with slacks, or a more personal suit Mizuki designed for her. Similar to the Xylocopa costume from in-game but less bee-like and more business appropriate. Reference these shitty screenshots. Earring is present when she's not busy doing something. Replace the sleeve ends with regular cuffs/end of a sleeve. Bee wing-like features near the collar arent there and neither is the neck thing but the rest of the design is present. Use your imagination. I don't know. I made it up in five minutes.
She conceals a gun in her clothes when she's out for safety, but it's only meant for emergency use, in a dire situation. She hates the idea of using it, and tries to avoid violent confrontation completely if she can help it. She can and will, however, use it if she must. Don't test her. Primary self defense is knives, due to ease of use and concealment. She keeps a pair of daggers on her as well as a folding karambit. Largely, her personal bodyguards, 25, are making sure she doesn't usually have to resort to using her own weapons. Her hair isn't as long as canon. It's most likely giftedray length. Still long, but not as long. She also likes to use the side ponytail look her mother uses when she needs to put her hair up. She has a tattoo starting behind the right shoulder that climbs over it and winds down her arm, tapering off after the wrist. it starts with a black carnation. Music scores and notes as well as carnation petals create the winding design that travels down her arm. She doesn't often explain that the music score is actually a song, and that it is the melody from her family's music box.
Mafuyu:
Starts as a member of a different group entirely. Rising power of Kanade's gang causes friction from others, resulting in them often wanting her dead in order to dismantle and take over what's left of what she has. Mafuyu is eventually tasked with taking Kanade down. by her own boss. Is it her mother you think? I dont actually know yet. That feels like a cop-out but really does it matter. Mafuyu is highly skilled at the use of bows and arrows. She sticks to a shortbow and a crossbow as weapons due to size, though she has a personal fondness of longbows. If she's working with plenty of time she'll use her shortbow, but in more urgent situations she has a pistol crossbow she uses. While most of her bolts are regular bolts, she has an occasional stock of poison-laced bolts for an extra kick. Wowee. Her arrows could also be laced if she wants. She likes to use poison sometimes, especially for hit jobs. yes she does try to kill kanade with a poisoned bolt. Ouf. Even after joining the 25 crew, she doesn't have to adhere to the rule of having a "safer" alternate weapon due to her practice with her aim making her highly adept at avoiding lethal shots and striking to only incapacitate. That and she can fight hand to hand if she really needs to. Everyone in 25 finds it really hot when she fights with her hands honestly. Mafuyu doesn't particularly enjoy her life of crime, she was pulled into it by family ties. She finds kanade's offer to join 25 instead alluring due to the foolish notion Kanade has that she can handle this business with less bloodshed than everyone thinks is necessary. How cute. Her tattoo is located at the back of the neck and middle of the top of the back, and depicts a white rabbit standing with its feet atop the neck of a black wolf, a pattern of red blooming from between the rabbit's feet and the wolf's neck and creating a Design around them.
Mizuki:
Likes to unironically make helpful custom accessories and clothes for the others to help with things like concealing their weapons or being able to carry them hands-free, concealing pockets for more confidential belongings, and just general good looks. Her primary weapons are a katana and a pair of brass knuckles which are very unnecessarily adorned with gemstones on the halves held in the hand itself. Her tattoo is a clouded leopard just below the center of her back that is jumping from a bursting pattern of lilies and roses that adorns most of her lower back.
Ena:
Designs the tattoos (if desired), though she doesn't apply them herself (not Mafuyu's, that pre-existed). Preferred weapons are various blunt trauma weapons such as metal pipes, bats, and hammers. Alternatively, she carries a pair of tactical tomahawks if she needs something with more cut to it. Her tattoo is a pair of arm sleeve style tattoos with a design of stylized streaks of different colored paint blending into wind-like patterns among a red-tailed hawk soaring down each arm. The hawk on her left arm seems to soar freely while the hawk on her right is talons-out and seemingly on its way to strike its prey.
i'd like to bring these back - full cheese and all :) i love every single one of my mutuals but i want to shout out some people in the rpc that i love interacting with, i love seeing them in the tags, in groups, on indie, and who i fear i would crumble without<3 seriously, thank you all for making my years on here so much fun.

@girlhoods: now i know we don't talk every day (come home, the kids miss you) but i've never felt more in our community than when i talk with you. i've never disagreed with you on anything and maybe that's the cuzzin bond, maybe it's because we pass the same brain cell back and forth, maybe it's just because we were meant to be in each others lives. i think of you often, i love you<3
