Things ... well, things sucked, to be blatantly honest. Jimin was never one to handle any kind of situation well-- especially serious situations-- but this was at an entirely new level. He was scared, completely shaken-up at everything that had happened recently. Deaths-- deaths, gory deaths-- people blaming each other-- it just didn't make sense at all.
More importantly, Jungkook was gone. Gone, gone, gone. Jimin wanted to talk to him-- he wanted to make sure he was okay, but with all the events that have happened, it was like his friend-- his first mutant friend ever had completely changed into a different person. Even if he got a chance to face him again, he wouldn't know what to say. That shy kid with the pretty smile he met on his first day had turned into... into someone-- no, something that was just... angry. Jimin wasn't irrational-- but he would've sworn that something in that first broadcast had taken control of his mind and somehow broken him.
And there was absolutely nothing he could do about it. So there's that.
People in the halls were constantly clamoring and panicking. So many of them were running away-- some even deciding to go out to join the calamity, but Jimin wanted nothing more than for everything to just... stop. He was so used to normal. Wake up, get dressed, go to school, eat, hang out with friends, then back to bed. He was used to living a lifestyle that was predictable. At the time, he wanted to get rid of that lifestyle and have adventures and unpredictability, but... well, look where he ended up now.
His fingers pushed down on the buttons for what seemed like the millionth time that day-- but of course after the set amount of rings, there was that taunting voice on the other line 'Your call has been forwarded to an automatic voice messaging system. Please leave a message after the beep.'
"Mom-- Dad-- w-whoever's there-- I-I wanna go home..."
