A surprise text from Jessica Hamilton P.I. suddenly arrived, Kurt had to reply. He wasn’t doing anything important, just taking a quick break after his late night run; he was about to shower.

Hopefully, she realizes he had his tongue firmly planted on his cheek when he sent those messages. Lately, their bantering have become part of a routine and also, a dynamic. He senses it’s more friendly and less abrasive... Like, it’s a way to mock each other but also, a way of getting along, maybe.

He smiles softly, his hand moves to cover Logan’s and shifts to look at him better. “I don’t want to think about making decisions, the future is very uncertain now.” He points out; he is usually positive and optimistic but he is perfectly aware they’re on borrowed time already. 

“I mean, I think ist obvious I trust you too, right?” He removes Logan’s hand from his face and kisses his fingertips. “Und, I don’t mind if you want to be possessive, to be honest? I like it.  I just don’t like jealousy. I hate it.” He shrugs. “I don’t really understand it and it makes me anxious.” 

It is not like it has happened but, Kurt wanted to make sure there is no drama at all, they already have enough with each other’s struggles. “I don’t want to do anything that would make you feel upset either.” He looks into his eyes.

He didn’t see the text right away, he was busy taking notes while reading a few theology books he’s been using for his research then; he saw the message when he took a break to rest his eyes and to have some coffee. 

[ ✉ → text::daken ] delete mine first, block me and stop being so petty, you arsch mit ohren.

He must be really bored. 

Kurt shook his head and wondered about his promise to Logan. From all the things he’s promised to his lover, this must be the craziest but... He realized he could say no to many things to that man anyway.
