The last few years Silver had left the boy with plenty of anger and resentment. But he still tried his best not to lose the part of him that was there before. He did what he could to hold onto it. Owning a used book shop in town, working with witches and familiars who lost their other half. Doing his best to help them with the pain. And of course refusing to have anything to do with his sire. He was starting over. As best he could at least. Bored out his mind after restocking his shop the hybrid decided to find some food. Moving to the undercroft his eyes scanned it. Silver had avoided the place since he arrived a few months ago. Not interested in seeing those who were suffering. However he knew one day he would need to go down there. And today was the day. Maybe he could find someone who was willing. Someone who didn’t mind.
As he made his way past a few the scent of flowers caught him. It was unusual. It was so faint he almost missed it. But it triggered something in his brain. Looking around slowly he smelled the scent of sex mixed with it. It was a combo he smelled once before. Breathing in through his parted lips those brown eyes landed on the scent. It caused a lump in his throat. Hesitation. Fear. His feet carried him before he could think. And with one movement his hand grasped the shoulder spinning the boy. “Isaac?” It had been years since he saw the other. He went missing. He had disappeared one day and Silver had never gotten over it. “How…?”
