Stone Ocean, like all Jojo parts, has its flaws. One of them is the pathologization of Jolyne (and all women/girls who have absent fathers) and centering her abandonment by Jotaro as key to her entire character, while implicitly forgiving and ignoring Jotaro's role in this dynamic.
