♦ - What is one thing about them that they are most proud of?

Probably, above all, having been able to be welcomed into the Division of Security Operations. Compared to his previous job within the government—it was actually something where he could say he was truly making a difference… truly saving all the lives that he could. Where he felt good about himself and the work he was doing, without the fear of crossing a line or disappointing someone. Second to that, however, would be the obvious choice of surviving Raccoon City—managing to do what he could to help make sure those who were alongside him for most of the ride, also got out alive.

♣ - What is one thing that they find embarrassing?

A messy appearance. That may make him sound a bit full of himself, but he was raised on looking nice and looking presentable. Even as a child, his mother would take the time to dress him as nicely as she could for the occasion, even if it was just for school. On the same subject, messiness in general. Being untidy. Though he’s pretty certain he developed some form of OCD whilst attending boot camp that causes the need for fully ironed bedsheets and shined shoes.

✓ - How do they react to praise?

The way his mother always taught him to: in the most humble way possible. A submissive wave of his hand joined by a thankful smile. Though, depending on what he was being praised for or as, his reactions were somewhat different. That so-called ‘hero' title everyone had so become so fond of calling him—that was one of those exceptions, one where he deny it up and down until something or someone stopped the tame disagreement.

Sometimes alcohol plays a large factor in keeping his nerves at a stand-still—it’s a stress, most of the time, something that keeps him awake at night, sends him into a fit of screams in the darkness, and sometimes, it even haunts him when he’s awake. It started off as simple night terrors—you never truly forget the first time you shoot a gun at a living creature. Undead or not. They still looked like people and when you were a rookie cop, thrust into such a poor situation with no idea of what the hell was even happening, it got to you. Infectees… how would he have guessed the first bullet from his RPD issued handgun wasn’t actually being lodged into the skull of a human being?

☠ - How do they react to death?

It wouldn’t be inaccurate to say that it didn’t matter… that it was past the point of having any effect on his psychological well-being. Because it bothered him, it still did until this day. He could never take a life… or the shell of what used to be a life, without feeling the sharp tinge of regret and sorrow in his heart. Guilt, even, burning to highest degree it could, before he needed to find a way to extinguish the flames. Death wasn’t easy—but it wasn’t something that could be avoided in this world, either. Either you killed or you were killed first.

♕ - Do they trust easily?

From time to time Leon’s judgement is a bit clouded—depending on the person’s outward personality, he can. Usually this ends up being a horrible idea, as you could imagine… but over the years, he has gotten slightly better at that, at being wary despite not wanting to shun anybody away, but knowing it’s only to protect himself. Maybe it’s his desire to believe that everyone has a good side and wanting to give them a chance to prove it.

☼ - Something that/Someone who makes them happy.

The easy answer here is Sherry. He doesn’t really have anybody else in his life and while the alone isn’t always so bad… being in the company of someone who understands you without feeling the need to pity you is something that can just make you feel a million times better in the end.

♗ for a tip for getting my muses romantic affection.

Leon is big on attention. Not so much the idea of being pampered or spoiled, he just wants attention. Thought of once in awhile. That he wants to spend time with the one that supposedly cares for him and that he feels mutually strong for.

♖ for on of my muses guilty pleasures.

Head rubs, generally—or just the feeling of someone’s fingers through his hair. It’s calming, in a strange way, and he never gets to experience it often. But it’s something that enjoys thoroughly, nonetheless, when it does present itself.

♞ for something that my muse wants to do.

Maybe, eventually… get married some day. To who? He really doesn’t know, he doesn’t really think about it too often, simply because it’s hard to picture himself settling down like that, in the world he’s in. But he’d love to raise a family… maybe he’d be a pretty decent father.

♟ for something my muse admires.

Weaponry—he doesn’t particularly voice his interests, but he appreciates a fine handgun when he sees it. Even going as far as customizing and naming his own with things that fit his tastes and mimics various designs that he’s seen and admired in other guns he’s had the opportunity to use.

☁ for something that make my muse sad.

Memories, usually… thinking about his parents and the life he had before everything went to hell. He lets his thoughts wander sometimes, lets himself think of the ‘what if’s’—what if I had been here, what if I had done that, what if I was able to to save them.

☂ for something my muse wants to protect.

It would be cliche to say the world, but it’s basically just that—Leon has a very strong will to protect all those that he can. So it’s easier to say that he wishes to save humanity. That he wants to protect mankind.

♨ for something that relaxes my muse.

Though he doesn’t really listen to it often, music helps to settle the anxiousness he feels. It’s a distraction, from his own mind, an escape away from reality. It stops his hands from trembling and his knees from bouncing. It makes sitting between those four walls of his bedroom more tolerable. It makes it feel like things aren’t so bad.

(( ~ This might be a difficult one given that Leon's been through a lot of horrors already, but... ♒ - Phobia Headcanon. Does he still have irrational fears, or any great ones? ~ ))

♒: phobia headcanon.

          While Leon’s greatest fears have been met and faced with an outstanding level of confidence and a collected mind, there are a couple of things that have yet to be encountered. The undead and virus created monsters aren’t something he could ever say he expected to come across in his time—though he has a massive phobia of anything paranormal (such as ghosts, demons, spirits, etc.), and he hopes that isn’t another story from his childhood that’s going to haunt him (no pun intended) to his grave. He once refused to sleep all night because he accidentally bumped the remote and turned the television on, thinking his apartment had a little visitor.
