You know, I’m actually pretty happy with yellowascot. But harakiri or seppuku would have been pretty cool. I’m also surprised my co.vu was open. So overall, I’m actually content right now.
‽: An unpopular/unusual ship with my character that I love.
I’m not even sure if it’s unpopular or not? Or unusual, for that matter. Orrrrr if people just… don’t think about it or whatever. Because, clearly, I never see it mentioned. But I actually ship Kaz/Huey. FOR REASONS OKAY I HAVE REASONS. Yeah. Just imagine that adorable.
Wardrobe: What’s their fashion style? Do they have any staple pieces?
Kaz often. . . goes a little overboard in terms of his look on fashion. Often spending hours in the bathroom just getting ready for the day—not to mention those sunglasses never really leave his face. He's also altered his uniform a bit. . . that really isn't the way it's meant to be worn, but Boss doesn't seem to mind. It isn't really what you would call a staple piece, by standards. . . but definitely the ascots. Don't question it.
Hobby: What’s something they do for fun that might be surprising?
It might not be that surprising, considering he plays the guitar and does what he can to attempt to sing—but song writing and poetry in general, honestly. That's not really something he tells anybody about. . . using most of his free time to do these activities, when he's alone. But it's kind of embarrassing to him.
Though it’s probably not especially obvious from the outside—Kaz is a bit of a romantic. Shy, in his own way… he’ll flirt until the end of the world, but when it comes to taking action? He’s actually quite backwards . . preferring to be on the other end of those cheesy pick-up lines for once. Absolutely anything romantic will most likely win you his heart… for the most part, at least. Certainly helps if you compliment on him the obvious.
Jaded: Do they buy into “happily ever after” ? What’s their standard?
Most times, it just depends on when you ask him—he wants to, but with the things happening around him at the moment, it's sort of impossible to believe in any of sort of 'happily ever after', not just in romantic terms. Kaz's standards are pretty. . . normal, around average in expectancy. Though, while those things are unfortunately important to most in relationships, he does believe that a mutual caring is much more ideal.
Question: How often do they feel doubt? Things they're defensive about?
Kaz’s self-esteem isn’t exactly what it appears to be on the outside—he may carry himself with confidence and while it is true he’s quite the popular man with women… that’s not anything he let’s himself lean on. More often than not, he finds himself doubting himself, doubting if he can truly be everything that his mother had wanted him to be. Naming her son peace in a world of war and violence, clearly wanting him to live up to his namesake. Is he really doing that? Or maybe he’s just making it worse?
If you were to call him out on his persuasion skills—more specifically drop the words, ‘con artist’, while it may be true, it tends to make him a bit angry. It wasn’t a swift manner of his tongue that got him where he is… it was hard work and intelligence. Then, of course, that touchy subject of women… being called a womanizer on several occasions with the rumors of him attempting to sleep with every woman aboard MSF, those will get you a hostile reaction, too.

——﹙☮ ❜⋮ Arching a brow—Miller had glanced at the younger with a look of amusement. He wondered, momentarily, how he had figured out their relationship so quickly… he hadn’t remembered ever being so open about their, uh, PDA, in front of anyone in specific.
Word got around fast, he figured…
” —See, there’s a slightly problem with that, “ He began, the enjoyment he was receiving out of this whole situation quite audible in his voice. He tried to hide it, he really did. ” It’s sort of too late—but let’s see if I can’t find a solution, “
Not wasting a second, Miller’s arm raised once he was close enough, his left hand coming up to pull that bandana around the kid’s forehead down, over his eyes, covering them up and therefore, well, stopping him from seeing anything.
With a proud yet sarcastic smirk, despite the fact that it couldn’t be seen… the older had let out a faint, brief chuckle, before patting Snake on the shoulder, giving it a careful squeeze.
[] Obey: Perform an exaggerated air-guitar solo in front of Big Boss by surprise. []

——﹙☮ ❜⋮ Surprisingly enough? Kaz wasn’t drunk. Though, you probably wouldn’t believe that by looking at his behavior—he tried to lighten the mood a lot. The heaviness surrounding the Base lately really brought down the morale of everyone… and raising that very such thing was his job, was it not?
However, there were very few things in this world that actually brought even a hint of a smile to that man’s face… that made him laugh to the point of actually sounding happy. One being when Kaz was actually drunk and making a fool out of himself, only to wake up come morning unable to remember the fact that had dropped trou in front of everyone the night prior.
But considering it was mid-day and Kaz still had a lot of work to do, that wouldn’t be happening. He had caught the sound of combat boots against the plant’s flooring… making it’s way closer to him, as uniform metal jingled in rhythm with those steps. He knew that walk… even just hearing it, he knew it.
Standing from his desk, the sub-commander pushed through the door of his office, and right in front of Snake’s path. Almost coming chest-to-chest with him… most likely knocking him over—he had the height advantage, it wouldn’t be the first time he’s thrown him off balance.
Before any pleasantries could be exchanged, Kaz had broken out into a very violently exaggerated air-guitar solo, right in front of Boss. Complete with sound effects and everything else you could possibly imagine when you thought those words. He wasn’t sure how long it went on, but it was at least a few minutes before Snake had shaken his head and turned to walk away.
You and I have tiny little bit of confrontations under our belts before I decided to make Kaz—over on Leon, and the brief time that we wrote there, I was really impressed by how well you managed to capture Frank's personality, despite the fact that you unfortunately, don't get to see too much of him in game. I feel, with how well you stay true to canon, you do also attempt to spice other aspects of him up, that weren't so thoroughly covered over the course of the franchise. I really like that. . . you're able to fill in the empty parts, the loopholes, and turn them into something that's really interesting and entertaining to read / witness. You're an incredible writer and seeing you on my dash always brings a smile to my face. I'm happy I've gotten the opportunity to write with you, it makes me feel very lucky. I'm also quite happy we met one another. . . I always appreciate that you care about the little things I post that tend to kick-start my anxiety. It's nice knowing you're there, if I ever need someone to just lend an ear. :3
