Out of the handful of whatever he might retain of Cretan language before taken by Amestrian's is

Asteri - Star

I do want to try and find away to implement at least a little of the language- it should be noted he may know Cretan words, he may know Amestrian but he sure as hell likely won't be able to offer you any translation between the two

Who knows the context. Maybe someone in Creta if playfully called him their 'little star' just cause idk. Creta lab I wouldn't say was much better or worse the Amestris maybe a little better.

Person just really liked giving nicknames to their test subjects/experiments or just equating making him as like a new star being born who knows

Or maybe he just over heard a random conversation and for some reason that word just stuck.

That said he will 100% use it as a term of endearment - most likely should /if he ends up actually getting a romantic relationship - like it could be used platonicly i just dunno who he'd use it for

Regardless what language someone speaks in Wonderland quite honestly would get about the same response from a lab!life Tim

- He'd likely understand more Cretan words then Amestrian as it is (but ain't no one likely to be speaking that sooo)

Besides that he only barely understands a handful of phrases and even then a lot of that comes more from tone and watching body language for him to figure out when he's being spoken to

But there's a difference between short simple commands or single words and whole sentences that's just gonna net you one tilt of the head and either a confused or rather blank stare

That said if actually taken the time and patient enough with him he can and will pick it up in time.

But until that happens most of it sounds like gibberish to him

On the other hand non lab!life is ehh, would understand more still not great at speaking it tho and just kinda hates being forced in a position where he can't speak his native tongue

Communicating still not easy but he'd at least have the knowledge to know how to figure things out/ brain better developed for it kinda thing.

When saying 'another' Tim tends to pronounce it more like an other - sounding more like to separate words then just one.

[Terms you might here Tim use around the Nest to refer to people (if you are part of the devil’s Nest/living there he will not use it during work ever)

afentikó - Boss any variant there of my/the/our (Takes a bit but once he feels comfortable enough you might catch him occasionally use it)

ti diáolo - What the hell

if really lucky might here him refer to them as his Familia :3 (Idk kinda like how it sounds better then the Greek word for it at least in terms as for this- and well I’ve basically turned Creta into a Greek/Spanish mish mash sooo)

Οχι (Ochi) – No

Καλησπέρα (Kalispera)– Good afternoon/good evening.

Ya - A Casual Hi

Eχω χάσει τα αυγά και τα καλάθια (Eho hasi ta avga ke ta kalathia) – Roughly translating to ‘I’ve lost my eggs and my baskets’, this means the speaker has no idea what’s going on!

(This I jsut find hilarious and he’d probably use after hearing some one talk for awhile but having 0 clue what was jsut said to him/more likely to be used when he wants to play the foreigner card) ]
