Days were long, sure, but sometimes the nights felt even longer. The few occasions in which sleeping came easily to him, he felt luckier than he could express. The longer he tossed and turned, the more annoyed he started to feel. Somehow, he was going to need to clear his mind so that he could actually settle down and get some shut-eye. At the moment, he felt the pent-up frustration festering beneath the surface and he wasn't totally convinced that he wouldn't climb out of bed solely to kick some furniture around.
Friends... Well, sadly, he didn't seem to have any. Though, if you asked Jay, he'd say that he was better off without them. Still, it didn't make times like these any easier. Company was a good way to soothe him yet his life always seemed to lack it. He thought of one person he could text, though he would be lying if he said he was sure they'd agree. It was worth a shot either way... he guessed... Running a hand through his hair, he sighed.
