Rory immediately turns her eyes widening at the yells coming from the other girl. She had been trying to just simply mind her business, enjoy the halloween things that were happening here in sydney, but the yelling was... difficult. "okay take a few deep breaths." rory started softly, approaching the women, her hands raised in surrender, before her eyes fell on the little spider. rory froze biting her lip roughly, she had never been terribly scared of spiders, but she had also never had to feed off of anyones energy like this girl was. "Okay... just... give me..." she reaches over brushing the spider quickly off the girls shoulder with her own small squeal. "okay... you should be okay now."

“Good... Don’t let anyone tell you any stupid white lies.” Callie instantly said forcing a small smile on her face. She had grown used to people trying to feed her own lies about the disappointment in her family. About how her parents would have loved her no matter what. But that hadn’t been all the way true, sure, her parents weren’t complete assholes to her because of what she had chosen. They would have had her be a doctor or a lawyer... anything but a pilot even if she was damn good at it. “White lies don’t make the person feel better, they make the person speaking to you feel better. I say it’s a load of crap frankly.”

“people like me don’t get to have peace.” (georgia & any)

“Peace is for fools.” Lucy says with a small sigh, running her hand over her face. Peace was not for everyone, she had a feeling only saints were the ones who got peace. Because of some ridiclousness that they did to make themselves feel better than everyone else. And she knew, that she would never find peace either. She didn’t believe that. How could she when the fact of her parents was always creeping in the shadows? “And sometimes peace is taken from you before you’re even old enough to know what peace is.”

[ CLEAR ] for one muse to wipe the other’s tears. (nini & any)

“Are you okay, sweetheart?” Brooke asks gently, seeing the way that the tears seem to form in the younger girls eyes. She has been that girl before, curled up on our her own wanting to shed her emotions where no one could see her, but it never got any easier like that. She leans down to wipe at one of the girls runaway tears with a small sigh. “Do you want to talk about it?” Brooke asks gently, moving so she’s sitting down next to the younger girl. “I’ve been told I have a pretty good listening here.”
