The day started unlike any other he had ever known. Rising early, he found himself with nothing to do but gaze out the window of his new prison—a place he had voluntarily entered to save his grandfather. His eyes fixed on the bustling city below, he could hardly believe what he was seeing. Never in his life had he encountered anything like it, and he wasn't sure he ever wanted to again, even if he did win the games (which he doubted).
He wandered through the tower, his cowboy hat securely on his head, even though it was useless in a place like this. He made his way to what looked like a kitchen, grabbed a small pot, and started boiling water while rummaging through the cabinets for some coffee.
Hearing someone approach from behind, he turned to face them, leaning casually against the counter.
"You'd think if they were gonna kill us, the least they could do is give us some decent coffee." He stated, removing his hat in the presence of the young woman he saw. "Levi Cole, 'tis a pleasure miss."
