Lev planned to ignore the knocking on his door. He was, after all, in just a towel, having just gotten out of the shower. And he had a week’s worth of grading before him. But the knocking didn’t stop. Annoyed, he swung the door open to find the last person he’d expected to see.

“What are you doing here?”

“Hey, don’t move that. There’s a logic to it all.” Lev looked around his bedroom and knew he sounded crazy. “I swear there is.” He pointed to one side of the room. “North side is all the papers I have to grade for my queer theory class. South side is the papers for the medieval literature class. My bed has all the research for my doctoral dissertation. See? Organized. Logic.” Lev rubbed his eyes. “Just give me a sec. I’ll clean it up.”
