STARTER CALL: ARDYN
Ardyn always wants attention. Who wants some attention from Ardyn?
“The ants go marching five by five, hurrah! Hurrah!”
“The ants go marching five by five, but one of them won’t make it out alive~”
Probably not up to something nefarious. Possibly.
He's an innocent man who's done nothing wrong in his life, ever.
@listenwellallofyou liked for a RANDOM VILLAIN
It was rare for Ardyn to come across someone so steeped in the dark. Even rarer for them to remain [as far as he could tell] unspoiled by what the shadows could bring.
With a flourish he bowed deeply-- tipping his hat off his head as one foot stepped behind the other, his arm holding the hat making a lavish sweeping motion that [perhaps for the first time in a long time] was genuine.
What phrase were the youth using to describe this feeling these days? Ah yes-- game recognize game.
"Welcome to Eos, madame. You're a visitor from another world, I can tell. I'm happy to serve as a guide, should you require it. I'd warn you not to travel at night-- but something tells me you're capable of handling the dark."
THE ADAGIUM AND THE DARK - Ardyn
The Starscourge is a horrible and incurable condition that corrupts humans into dark creatures-- in a manner far more gruesome than simply losing your heart. Though now that the Heartless have come to Insomnia--a new danger emerges. What's to happen if a human were to become corrupted while losing their heart?
Ardyn made such a suggestion to Imperial Research Minister Verstael Besithia, prompting the Empire to begin research on the 'heart'. They soon discovered the strength of the heart had weight in what beast could be created. Thus Ardy began to hunt-- He seeks to create an abomination so anachronistic that he's able to lure out Bahamut-- to what end remains a mystery.
Ardyn poses himself as an ally to those who arrive from beyond this world [namely Sora]. The true nature of his heart hidden behind eons of cooled anger. He's accommodating, charismatic, and curious. He seems to know about 'other worlds' and seeks to assist any keybearers he happens across.
Insomnia can be confusing! He even provides local transport-- sending the hero on whatever quest he can, distracting them from the truth while pointing them at the heartless and daemons alike. Encouraging them to become a Hunter-- to help people. To do what heroes do.
Heroic types are the easiest to manipulate.
one like and i'll give this bastard man a KH au
