Truth was that he owed Lila. After all he’d put her through last time they’d met, he had felt quite guilty about it. Even though he was trying to keep a detective’s distance from the questioning, it still didn’t seem fair to do that to her. He promised he would make it up to her, but...
This is what made him agree to a blind date. It was the dumbest thing; he still didn’t think he was dead, he was not about to let go of a previous love in his old life, and he was most definitely not even sure how to do this date. This was one of his more worse nightmares; something sudden without a chance to prepare, no idea what his date was like, and not sure how to impress them.
Even if he had little interest in dating someone, he still had a strong desire to make sure it was the absolute best date they had ever been on.
So, he grabbed every last gold piece he had and set off for Aienshi.
{He hadn’t much the chance to get any particular clothes together, so he settled for a shirt-jacket combo; simple but sleek.}
It was there he spotted the girl who had been waiting the last few moments for him. If he was correct, she was the girl from the library. Interesting, he supposed.
He approached her, offering her a single yellow rose.
“Diana. No kiddin’.”
He took one quick glance around his surroundings; he didn’t know Aienshi very well, and he couldn’t find a map on his way here to glance at. However, he was the one in charge of the date so he was careful to keep an eye out for a few places of interest.
“Dinner or Karaoke? Or both?”
