* She wasn’t sure how it started, but she remembered instantly where it started to go wrong. All she had done was agree with someone about reptile monsters being strong because of their scales. ‘So you think you’re strong, huh?’
* Now, it had somehow snowballed to this. Her, and some of the other monster kids were standing outside of the throne room. Alphys peeked around the door frame, spotting the Queen. The monster kids quietly goaded her on from behind. When Alphys went ahead, they hid behind the door frame, out of sight for now.
“H-h-hey!”
* The small monster stood in plain view, not far from Toriel now. She couldn’t back down now, although it’s not like she was able to before either.
“I challenge you t-to a fight!”
