tbh y’all are gonna be shocked when that new lemony snicket book is actually just about r and her threeway with lemony and beatrice, and her horses and how lemony and beatrice are living the high life sipping quality Niagara wine at her chateau while still all banging each other.

this headcanon is mainly linked to the threads i have with @teadrinkingtroublemaker.

from the age of 13, rania knew she was a lesbian. her mother panicked and began worrying about the carrying on of the title, and lectured rania quite heavily, tearing the young woman apart. she distanced herself from kit and beatrice especially, since her feelings for them were, in her mother’s words, ‘immoral, wrong, and will cause the downfall of their family’. this, of course, led to her and kit splitting up. 

(for the ‘would that be enough?’ thread) following the death of her mother, rania and kit rekindled their relationship and wed. her people supported them, as canada is down with marriage equality. this explains why she was the last duchess of winnipeg. they decided to never officially adopt, and the entail for the title still required blood. they occasionally fostered the orphaned children of their associates, but that was the closest they ever came. she never married danny, and jacob was never born.

(in the ones where they don’t marry) rania married danny before the death of her mother, as she came to love a select few men, moreso romantically than sexually (though there was still sex). following danny’s disappearance/death, she and kit rekindle their relationship until the distance, stress, and the former duchess’ words bubble to the surface and cause emotional distancing. at this point in time, they agree it would be better if they ceased their romantic and sexual relationship. they then began seeing the denouement brothers, who know of their history together, and the four of them are happy and a very close family. even though they are really in love with frank and dewey, they will never stop loving each other, and dewey and frank accept that.
