every father's day, artemis goes home to nebraska for a few days and brings all of her cameron shoe-boxes. she lets iz pick through them and they typically stay up all night with artemis answering questions.
she has a stuffed tiger toy she's had for 40 years sitting next to her bed btw
"what does she do while she's not sleeping?"
thanks so much for asking---
she watches frasier and works on researching things for "archeology specific" jobs. she's seen every episode about a thousand times--- it's just background noise to her compiling literal binders of research that she just has thrown around her room

Len... hoo boy, Len. The guy’s a bit of a mess, romantically speaking. He’s lonely as hell, but desperately afraid to make the first move. It’s important that you make the first move, because he probably never will. No matter how madly in love with someone he is, he won’t purposefully tell them... but it is possible to make it just slip out. If you make him nervous or embarrassed, he’ll start talking without really thinking, and the more flustered he is, the more likely he is to admit his feelings.
If you’re gonna date Lyall, you have to be ready to take things at the pace you want to, bc his natural pace for that sort of thing is... well, sluggish, to put it lightly. Unless his partner specifically seems to want to take things quicker, he’s happy to just enjoy himself with how things are going, he’d rather not push it. He does view sex very casually though, so if your relationship with him start out sexual, it will never progress until you make it progress, he will not take it further on his own.
Shey... well, you want some advice? My advice is that you should not date Shey. She’s an artificial intelligence/android programmed by an alien race. She’s all about trying new things... by experimentation. She will try to poison you. She will stab you to see what happens. For the love of god, never initiate sexual contact with her, because she will take things far further and into a much more painful area than you want. She was programmed to want to learn everything about humans, and, while she won’t do such things to an unwilling subject, dating her is implicit willingness in her eyes. It’s at the core of her programming, something she cannot overcome no matter how much she grows and learns. If you date Shey, you need to set clear boundaries on a lot of fronts you wouldn’t expect to need to. Failure to do this will result in a lot of hospital trips at best.
Malik might be the easiest to date on this list. He demands nothing of you, and seems to enjoy being a sugar daddy. Okay, well, he does want actual love and affection, he can tell if you’re just in it for his money, he will dump your ass if you try that. Just... the dude is kinky, okay? If you aren’t prepared for that, don’t ever, ever suggest experimenting in the bedroom, or you will live to regret that decision.

Lyall’s easy, and not just in the sense that he sleeps around. He’s easygoing, willing to go anywhere or do anything as long as you make it sound fun. He’ll be happy to give you a trial run as long as you’re enjoyable enough, even if he hadn’t considered asking you out himself. If he feels the connection isn’t there, no sweat, things can just go back to exactly how they were before. Don’t be afraid of him, really. There’s no risk to asking him on a date, and that’s exactly how he likes it.
BNHA Verse- on Len and Malik's quirks
Both possess the ability to sense heat, but it works in very different ways for them bc of how their quirks function.
Malik's is an emitter-type quirk, being able to rapidly heat or cool whatever he's in contact with, and his ability to perceive relative heat is a byproduct of that process. It was a skill he had to hone and practice over many years. He is always in contact with the air around him, and eventually became sensitive to anything that altered the temperature of the air (which is everything), but he has to actively be using his quirk on the air around him to be able to notice this.
Len's quirk is mutant-type, and his ability to perceive heat comes from sensory organs dotted along his cheeks and the bridge of his nose (that appear similar to freckles). As a result, it is always functional, working much like that same sense of a snake or the electroreception of a shark. It also has a significantly larger range than Malik's version of the ability, but can be overloaded by intense sources of heat or if Len starts to blush.
