7. our characters are sent back in time about 200 years
(1826)
They’d set it on a table in a cafe, and then this asshole walked up and pressed the damn thing. Pain and white light later, and, well…
“What… is this place?”
That’s all Gentarou could really say, really. Their surroundings looked like a movie set for some United States colonial-era film. They picked up the box that had landed in front of them and let their eyes sweep over people staring at them. They looked over to the black-haired bastard who’d caused this.
“This thing teleported us to… Ah… Do you know of any movies in production with this kind of setting?”
Being pushed never had these types of consequences. Normally it'd be a simple thing of turning around and yelling at them to 'Watch it!'. But this wasn't the case. Nijisaki never caught a break.
The table disappeared from under him and the red button dropped and rattled to the floor. Or at least it would have, had it not met with a rougher surface than cafe tile.
The light thup of the button was all that sounded, before the other spoke. It was then he realized who it was that this happened with. Déjà vu. "This is rich," he let out a bark of laughter before his arms crossed. "I don't know where this place is, but it seems to be a town of some sort. An old one at that."
"The only things I know about are spaghetti westerns. So no." Sigh. "I'd rather go back home though."
