It was not as though she’s a superstar in the gaming community or the type of pro-gamer who genuinely go on e-sports tournaments to participate in a ranking class. She was casual gaming, who happens to be a part of a pretty awesome gaming crew that has a small but kickass following. The numbers of their viewers increased, mostly in the Asian community, when a few of her crew members and herself joined the MGAs.
It grew enough that even after being eliminated from the show, some of her friends were signed afterwards and while others like her started a separate channel where they uploaded cover videos of themselves. Either dancing or whatever preferred performance they wanted to do. It was like a whole new world for Olivia and she definitely had her favourite YouTubers in regards to these sorts of channels.
Which was while she gleefully approached the girl she recognised from some of the cover videos Olivia thought were pretty good. “Hey... you’re 5000 Mina right?” She’s a lot better at remembering sns names then real names and being in the community herself, she knew some people might have preferred it that way.
