When the Tale Ends - Sketches and Introduction
Throwing this new AU at you all. Silly fairy tale like au. Premise is super simple and I yap a bit over it after the sketches.
You know how it goes. Once there had been a beautiful princess, who was kidnapped by an evil lord and sorcerer. A hero went on a long and difficult journey to rescue the princess and to defeat the evil lord at its end. Welp, you are none of those people. Just a random, nameless farmer in the world of fairy tales. But on your way back home from the market, you come by a wounded stranger. Some kind of odd looking nobleman. You help the fellow out and bring him back home to tend for his wounds. Unknown to you, you just let the villain of said story into your home. Since Sun isn't fully back to his old strength - both magic wise and physically - he pretends to be a traveling noble far away from home, who got attacked by some bandits and thanking you for your aid and kindness. He fakes a smile whenever you look at him, while secretly plotting his revenge to blow up that damn hero and how to get the princess back, while exploiting your kindness to recover.
The more his strength returns the more he will let his facade drop. But he also will be the kind of dumbass, who is gathering ingredients for a love potion (meant for the princess) and get the potion spilled over himself and trying to resist very hard - and failing - not to fall for you, when you are the first thing he sees right afterwards. He knows it's just the stupid potions effect that makes his heart flutter and makes him say the most ridiculous nonesense, but it's also still embarassing as hell. Thankfully it was just a test run and nothing permanent, lasting only a week. But still... why does his heart keeps skipping around you, even when the effects should be gone by now?
Also it's funny how Sun isn't your first villain to pick up, you know? Like half a year before you found Sun, you had stumbled into that cute looking 'dog'-fellow, who had seemed like he was in some dire need for help. Poor thing had also been half starved and trapped at the bottom of a well. You did what you could to get him out of there and cooked for him to nurture him back to health. He might had thought about eating you a after his recovery a couple times. But with all those pets, head kisses and scratches you kept giving him every day, he had become more interested now in keeping his cute human mate save. Which includes keeping an eye out on that sketchy fellow that you brought home with you recently.
