Just like I told you, I had been more or less admiring you for a while before I got the courage to actually approach you--and even then I did so in a cowardly way, wouldn't you say so? From the moment that I saw you I thought to myself, "this is a girl that I have to get to know". You seemed so interesting, and I felt a sense of familiarity.. Maybe because we're from the same country? -- Oops, I hadn't told you that yet. But now you know, I guess.

I was very relieved that you weren't weirded out by my message. And honestly I felt weird sending it. I even used the word "admire"-- Ah, how embarrassing! 

But there's one thing that I really want to know. Is my Korean name really that boring? I thought really hard about it before changing it! 

Anyway... About our first meeting.. I was very tempted to fly you out to Japan to get that gyoza that you wanted. Unfortunately, I don't have the money for that-- If you can find anywhere around here that's got food that you like, you should definitely let me know so that I can treat you like I promised.
