Not As It Seems

A small child was running from the monster that was chasing after him.Well, a very unfriendly monster that happens to had found him out in the dark of the streets. It was still daylight but it was close to sunset; he was totally unprepared for this incident and if he doesn’t find somewhere out of this mess, he would be done for.. or would he?

{  He didn’t know. This is the consequence for mysteriously entering a town, seemingly desolate.  He was lucky that he was a speedy skeleton, any slower and there would be problems. However, before long, he found himself at an alleyway with a dead end, cornered and unable to get out. He immediately turned around and faced the other with much fear.. }

“Nice..u-um, well, I don’t know who y-you are but..you’re a..um,” he replied as the tone of his voice was stuttering somewhat due to the fear overcoming him.

{  However, the only response was growling and snarling..oh, what is he to do?  }

Abnormality

Snowdin, a nice small town for many, however there had been murmurs and whispers about the young skeleton with the red eye and unusual incidents. People are at unease about what has been going on as of recently and everytime they come across Kabel, they just..glare down at him..before walking away from him.

{ It seems that the nightmares aren’t just affecting Kabel but everyone around him and in a sense, he can’t help but to blame himself. After all, it all started with his older cousin, then Flowey worsened it and now it’s reaching influence around the surrounding monsters. }

The child’s level of discomfort and self-loathing grew on as the days went on by to the point that, he wanted to just stay in his own room, not to come out. Things had been rough on him that he wanted to isolate himself as the town had the haunting aria of darkness looming.

{ All because of one child.. }

Kabel wasn’t feeling too hot as of recent days and seeing this girl is that last thing he wants to encounter. Ugh, he shouldn’t trusted that flower and now because of it, his left eye has been flaring up like a bad case of hiccups from time to time and he feels absolutely terrible.

{ All he could do right now is handle this with a big ol’ smile and hope to goodness, he doesn’t suffer a bad flareup. }

“It’s Kabel,” he nervously chuckled.
