Briallen has never been in love. At least-- not in the conventional sense. You could say that the cherub is in love with love itself. She is in love with the idea of two people spending the rest of their lives together. She is in love with the thought of devoting one's heart to another. She adores the acts of affection such as kissing, cuddling, and hand-holding, but Briallen herself has never experienced any of this with another person. As a cherub, she understands the mechanics of love; she understands the chemistry and the actions and the commitment. But she doesn't exactly understand the emotions involved.
