Important new information: The big monsters punched hard.
Jenny winced as the large monster punched her, sending her right through a tree and skidding across the ground. She landed with a grunt, staring at the sky above her for a moment before lifting her head to look at what damage had been done. Her coat was a mess with all the skidding and she could sense a crack starting where she’d been hit.
She dropped her head back to the ground. One second to mourn the loss of her coat, then she was getting up and kick that monster’s butt.
