Flannel wasn’t normally the type of person to gamble, but occasionally it tickled his fancy. On this particular night, he found himself carrying a hefty load of cash that he wanted to get rid of. Since the bank were closed, what better place than a card table to invest his monies. Of course, it was a bad idea considering he had never won a card game in his life. But that’s what gambling was about, right? Losing all your money? Maybe?
Entering the rather shady establishment, he scanned the room to make sure he didn’t know anyone inside. It seemed safe, so he decided to walk around for a bit until he decided what exactly he planned to blow his money on. Slots were no fun -- there was zero skill involved -- but it required less work. No, he was looking for a card game tonight.
Poker involved too much thinking, plus his poker face was awful. Blackjack it is. He found a free table and slid across from the dealer. They really should trade hair dying tips. Slapping a wad of cash onto the table, Flannel gave her a nod.
“Deal me in.”
