The sharp jolt as his feet made contact with the water instantly sent his body crashing to the ground. Hot, thick ripples of electricity spread from the point of contact and every burning charge of energy hit like a tsunami; rendering its victim powerless against its force. Though he had no control over his body that night, in the hospital bed Isaac felt only more { helpless } There was n o t h i n g he could do but wait for the healing to be over with, an exhausting process in itself. The only link Isaac had to the pack was Melissa who knew little more than he and even then, he'd only get to speak to her between long periods of sleep on the off chance she'd come by to do a check up. The last he'd heard, Stiles had admitted himself to Eichen House - a lapsed piece of information. Unaware of the { severity only intensifying } "Thank-you." Isaac mumbled groggily into his pillow, one half-closed eye peered out to watch Melissa flashing him a warm smile as she set down a glass of water. He let his eye fall shut again and he could hear her fumbling with the medical equipment; a reminder of the tube stuck into his arm. With an uncomfortable groan, Isaac rolled onto his back and stared dazedly at the ceiling as Melissa shut the door on her way out.
Streaks of light from the window in the door to the hallway illuminated the gunmetal blue in his eyes. He wanted to call Scott who as far as Isaac knew, had made no effort to contact him - that only just began to sink in and a concerned frown formed on the beta's lips. Using his elbows to prop himself up, the boy reached across to the table for his cellphone and the screen lit up with the touch of a button. Nothing - except for the silhouette standing right across from Isaac. His body jolted and he immediately directed the light at the dark shape. "---Stiles? "You scared the hell out of me, I didn't hear you come in... Is Scott here too?"
