♡:Accidentally falling asleep together (chazxjoey)
Sunlight peeked through the window, coercing the brunette’s eyes to open. Squinting in the sharp morning light, Chaz yawned, nuzzling her face against the softness beneath her. A softness that was in no way like her pillow. She blinked, the unexpected feeling causing her to lift her head, at which point her eyes met with the features of a still sleeping Joey. Disoriented still, the female pushed her palm against his chest, using him to stabilise and lift herself off of him. She frowned, until she caught sight of the TV. Oh... right... they’d been watching a movie. She must have... fallen asleep. She shook her head, a sudden instinct urging her to inspect herself. Hands ran down her body, patting herself to make sure she was still fully clothed. Finding everything in place, Chaz’s frown only deepened. He hadn’t touched her; the thought was as strange to her as anything. She peered over at him, tongue wetting her lips before she looked to the window.
When he’d asked her to watch a movie with him, Chaz had been hesitant to agree. She knew what going to a guy’s place meant, and to be honest... she just couldn’t make sense of his motivations. This was even more confusing, and yet... it was starting to dawn on her that Joey hadn’t made a single move on her since their first time. Was there an actual, realistic chance that he liked her? Really liked her? It’d been months and despite her best efforts to discover some underlying motive, there had been no evidence of a ploy to hurt her, or get to her. Thoughtfully, she ran a hand through her hair, eyes widening. “Fuck”, she whispered to herself, getting off the couch in order to practically run to the bathroom - and the mirror. She locked the bathroom door, giving herself enough privacy to make sure she looked nothing short of her best. It wasn’t until she’d taken care of stray makeup, and freshened up to the best of her ability, that she emerged.
