Atop his view port, there was no doubt--
The prospect of defeat cowered before a living nightmare as explosions littered the city sky. Structures of sleek build touched the clouds, but many had been deprived of this freedom; the ground was covered with scattered remains of buildings and the corpses of the fallen.
Beside the monster, a droid commander rambled on about the status of their mission.
“Waste no time--” the cyborg replied, “infiltrate the structure and kill anyone who stands in your way.”
He turned away from the droid and moved briskly from the room. There had been no Jedi to defend the minor complexes he’d torn apart, but there was no telling who could be waiting for them inside the main building.
The general made his way off the vessel and observed the many clone corpses laying about the ground.
Their defense had been so weak... it could only mean that they were walking right into something bigger.
“Let them come, so that I may rip them all to shreds.”
