Favorites and habits:

What are some of your character’s hobbies? What do they do with their time?: Baking, baking and more baking. Choa is always in the kitchen. She cooks savory meals as well, but baking is where she excels and it's what she genuinely loves. She's also an avid reader, mostly fond of Muggle romance and fantasy literature. And when she's home, she likes video games.

Favorite color?: Pink first and foremost, but yellow is up there as well.

Favorite music artists? Movies or TV shows? Books or authors? Actors?: Choa tends to listen to upbeat music, anything with a happy melody appeals to her. However, thanks to her father, she's also a sucker for classic rock music. Her favorite movie/TV miniseries is Pride and Prejudice; the BBC adaptation that is several hours long in its entirety. And along that vein, her favorite author is Jane Austen, though Neil Gaiman's work ranks high as well. And due to her love for BBC's Pride and Prejudice, her favorite actor is Colin Firth.

Political stance? Are they active in politics or do they not care?: She's not active, but her stance is very liberal.

What are some of their pet peeves?: Much like a mother, Choa does not put up with brattiness or being disrespected. She's quick to scold anyone who talks back to her, and tends to get rather stern about it. She also can't stand when people are cryptic instead of simply saying what they are thinking.

What sort of gifts do they like?: A typical teenage girl, Choa loves gifts. Cosmetics, clothes, books, baked goods, anything. Though, like the mama type she is, from-the-heart homemade gifts really make her feel touched. Anything someone puts time and effort into.

What is their favorite time of day? Favorite weather? Season?: Surprisingly, Choa is a morning person. She wakes up a few hours before she's meant to, simply so she can enjoy the peace and quiet while everyone is still asleep. She gets showered, makes herself tea, reads for a bit or works on homework she had yet to finish. She likes being up early. And to match her sunshiney personality, she really loves sunny weather. Spring is her favorite season, because of all the blooming flowers and colors everywhere. It's just unfortunate that she has allergies.

Where do they like to spend their time?: In the kitchens, she enjoys to spend her free time cooking and baking. And she loves the company of the house elves.

Favorite food? Favorite drink? Hot drinks, soft drinks, or alcohol?: Cake is her favorite food, for sure, though if you mean savory food, she considers shepherd's pie a comfort food. Her favorite drink is tea of any flavor, she drinks it daily and with every meal. So, needless to say, she likes hot drinks, though iced tea in the summer is always refreshing.

Favorite animal?: Choa loves horses, she's always wanted one of her own but it's simply never been practical given where her family lives. But she can always dream.

Do they have any pets? Do they want any?: Actually, she doesn't have a pet. She contemplated getting a kitten to bring with her to school, but never did it. Perhaps someday.

What relaxes them?: Baking, reading, sitting someplace quiet and sipping tea.

Do they have any bad habits?: She's a nail-biter, but she's been painting her fingernails lately to deter herself. It's helping to break the habit, and it gives her another way to add color to her look, so it's win/win.

Favorites and habits:

What are some of your character’s hobbies? What do they do with their time?: Hongki loves Potions, enough so that it actually qualifies as a hobby. He's frequently practicing his brewing skills, trying to invent new potions even, and re-reading his Potions book over and over. He also loves collecting spiders, which he keeps in a jar beside his bed until he's studied them enough that he sets them free outside. As for more mellow hobbies, he reads quite a bit, but mostly textbooks or Muggle horror novels. Most of all, though, he loves art. He carries around a sketchbook filled with doodles, as well as a charmed polaroid camera, and at any given time he can be seen drawing something or taking a photograph of it.

Favorite color?: Like most Slytherins, Hongki is partial to green, though dark colors in general appeal to him. A deep eggplant purple is up there as a favorite.

Favorite music artists? Movies or TV shows? Books or authors? Actors?: Hongki listens to most anything, as he's quite fond of music, but The Smiths and Morrissey's solo work are definitely a favorite. He doesn't watch much television or movies, though quite boringly, he's fond of documentaries. Books, he's attached to the horror genre, especially classics such as H.P. Lovecraft, though he has a special place in his heart for Koji Suzuki's work with the Ring novels. Actors, it's hard to say, as it's already been stated he's not one for TV or movies.

Political stance? Are they active in politics or do they not care?: Hongki doesn't fuss too much when it comes to politics. If he sat down and thought about it long enough, he would formulate a strong opinion, but he doesn't think too much about it one way or the other. To him, it's all corrupt.

What are some of their pet peeves?: Judgmental people, quite understandably. Hongki has faced bullying enough that he has no tolerance for those who judge first without getting to know someone. On a lesser scale, being touched is a minor pet peeve. He used to have more of an aversion to physical contact, but he's warmed up to it a bit. Now it only irritates him mildly.

What sort of gifts do they like?: Hongki isn't used to receiving gifts, so this would surprise him quite a bit, but he wouldn't be too hard to shop for. Art supplies, books, anything relevant to his hobbies. And food or alcohol, you can't really go wrong with either of those.

What is their favorite time of day? Favorite weather? Season?: He's fairly nocturnal, he simply functions better at night. He's also fond of rainy weather, he finds the sound soothing. For season, he likes either fall or winter, when temperatures are cooler. Where most find it depressing, Hongki seems to enjoy cold, wet, dreary weather.

Where do they like to spend their time?: By the lake on school grounds. The water is relaxing, it's often secluded, and it's a good spot to sit and draw.

Favorite food? Favorite drink? Hot drinks, soft drinks, or alcohol?: Favorite food would be any kind of soup, though pumpkin is a favorite. He also drinks coffee quite often. He likes hot drinks, though of course his penchant for alcohol isn't to go overlooked. He has the slightest bit of a drinking problem.

Favorite animal?: Spiders, much to the dismay of his roommates. Though he loves all animals.

Do they have any pets? Do they want any?: Again, to the dismay of his roommates, Hongki has a pet tarantula named Nid who he allows to roam freely. The arachnid is often seen perched on his shoulder as he walks around. And there's also his ever-changing collection of smaller spiders.

What relaxes them?: Drawing, listening to music, drinking. It's pretty basic for him.

Do they have any bad habits?: Too many. His drinking problem is only the start of it. He's also a smoker, has dabbled in Muggle drugs in the past, and well... he has a reputation. Let's leave it at that.
