Kakashi took a step back in caution at the obviously mad ninja.

“Or… We can talk it out?” He tried lamely at the diplomatic response. He was pretty sure he could beat her- Kakashi was a jonin and a good one at that- but he doubted he could do it without any effort.

“I’ll provide tea.” He added almost in a bribing manner. He was pretty goddamn sure it wasn’t going to work.

Kakashi had killed her brother and that wasn’t going to get solved over tea.

“What’s there to talk about!? You murdered my brother when he had his whole life ahead of him!” She could clearly recall all the aspirations Gaara had shared with her as he developed into the man she knew he could be. The plans he had weren’t just menial things to prove their village’s strength. 

“He would have done so much for the world!” Covering up her pained voice, Temari blasted a mass of several air pockets hoping to knock the man over. She didn’t need him to understand. The least she did need was for him to be in as much pain as she was.

The Leaf village disgusted her. So much so it actually shocked her as she approached the gates. It was easy for her to admit she hated the place but the churning in her gut, like she had just eaten rotten octopus, was new. After what had happened, it made sense that Temari wouldn’t have to travel to the forsaken village. Her singular reason for doing so no longer existed. Except, now, that was exactly the reason she had to come back. Her whole village was in mourning. She was in mourning. Yet they were all slowly starting to accept it and move on. All those people disgusted her too. Logically, she knew they wouldn’t feel the way she does, but it pissed her off how they couldn’t stay angry like she had. She couldn’t even be granted the peace of remember her brother without imagining the masked face of the shinobi who let him die. No logic could ever reach her thoughts on that matter.
