Meet Braum, League's Newest Champion
Most support players in League of Legends know that they need to take one for the team…or one-hundred sometimes. But Support players usually must try to keep their team alive, even if it means sacrificing themselves. This is especially true for squishy supports.
But Braum is Riot Games’ first actual tank support; the guy who is supposed to take hits for his team. This is sure to be an interesting show to watch, as most of the time, the goal in League is don’t get hit.
But Braum will have the health and playstyle for it. One of his abilities is even called “Stand Behind Me” where he charges between an ally champion and their attacker. Braum then grants himself and his ally armor and magic resist.
Braum has another ability called “Unbreakable” where he raises his shield and negates damage from the first attack and reducing damage of any attack that hits the shield afterwards, until he puts it down.
For Braum’s ultimate, “Glacial Fissure” he slams his shield into the ground, which sends out a skillshot that knocks up and damages enemies, and then leaves a slow field.
