Entry #70
Friday involved checking the apartment for the unicorn hair, the remains of witch were gone.
After checking in with Handrietta we found out that a biker gang had entered town (more on that later from Stanley). We briefly met back at Dan’s cabin then Stanley went out to advertise as Fiddleford and I went to find the zodiac.
Fiddleford and I were able to convince Northwest to attend the demonstration in exchange for exorcising a ghost haunting their mansion.
We stopped at a diner where “Stanley” met up with us. It was actually Shifty in disguise who pretended to be feeling under the weather in an attempt to get us back to Dan’s cabin.
Thankfully, upon seeing the posts Stanley” had made I quickly realized that the one beside us was Shifty. We redirected towards the house, lying and saying to Shifty that it had been his (Stanley’s) idea.
Fiddleford, in a panic, erased Shifty’s entirely memory. We set up a monitor so that Shifty could see his memories. He’d indeed made a deal with Bill, the most recent ‘orders’ of which were to leave one us alive at the demonstration.
After seeing the entire memory reel, Shifty stormed off and disabled the elevator to trap us. Shortly after, he fell through the floor above into the portal room going unconscious.
We made our way upstairs, carrying Shifty up onto the ground floor with us. I left him a note fully explaining the situation and as well apologizing. I doubt he forgives us, but hopefully he won’t interrupt the demonstration to allow us to vanquish Bill.
The three of us returned to Dan’s cabin then to rest, Fiddleford the only one wearing a unicorn hair necklace. Stanley had put his own on Shifty earlier. Bill also made a point to disrupt our sleep, but nothing to worry about.
Entry #66
Fiddleford found us during the night and informed us that he had taken the memory blaster from the Stanmobile and checked it over for explosives.
Stanley and I separated from him shortly before the morning, but within minutes Fiddleford had ran back to our room. Someone who seemed to be a nurse had entered his room and attacked him. Thankfully, he managed to quickly get free shortly after stabbing a sharp object into one of their eyes.
Despite his claim that their grip did not constrict him for long, dark bruises formed rather quickly. We have no idea who they were, but they must be associated with Bill. Fiddleford informed me that their eyes did not look yellow, but possession cannot be ruled out.
Entry #65
Shortly after Fiddleford awoke we left to find Ivan, upon finding him I asked him to come along with us to find the height altering crystals within the woods to which he agreed.
We found them without incident and decided to visit Handrietta.
We went to the apartment to briefly pick up some food to bring with us. In the living room was a bomb that exploded from some triggered wiring.
While Stanley and I suffered minor injuries, Fiddleford was hit by debris in non fatal areas, and Ivan received the majority of the blast.
We pulled Ivan into the car and stemmed his bleeding as much as possible as Stan drove to the hospital.
Shortly after rushing into the ER we were all separated for treatment. Some unknown time later, Ivan recovered from critical condition.
entry 68
busted out the toxic waste barrels from the cops and then i wowed and amazed half a town with the ‘walking fire of the future!!’ and assured them of all the wonders and mysterious scientific secrets that would be revealed saturday once in a lifetime nonprofit* show!!
got some supplies from town then headed on back to the cabin again
nerds are fixing up some of their stuff here and ford stayed up to figure out the zodiac hes sleeping right now but he left behind some face drawings of everyone
still got to put up some signs for the show
entry 67
okay so after the hospital we went over to dans cabin and holed up there for a bit, argued over doing the show or not but course its the easiest way to get rid of big bastard willy mcrottencheese so we’re going with it
then boom we went to the shack picked up scampers
and then went into town
