“Ya know what’s funny?”
“Arson, Arson’s pretty funny.”
Passing by an old church, the fallen angel would stop for just a moment. Grey eyes looking up at the monument of worship. He remembered passing by before. Remembered those walls being scatterd across the ground, no roof to house the prayers any longer. And now it was again intact.
Humanity kept rebuilding what they themself destroy. They were such persistent beings. Over and over... how often was this place rebuilt? Five times? Six?
Antares took one step closer, before taking that step back again. Right, a fallen angel had no place here. He should just continue walking.
" He calls me husband but treats me like a secretary. Yall go off on him for that, thank you. " He is going to be waiting for his apology flowers.
How do they understand the world–what kind of worldview and thought processes do they have? Why?

42 character development questions!
Aurel has learned a lot of heavens secrets alongside his brother. As much as he wished he could believe in the teachings, it is hard to cling onto them when he knows most of the high order couldn't give a shit.
He is a gentle soul, and perhaps would've been a great guardian angel. That is why it often hurts him to know what heaven does, yet he stays there. Because he does believe that's where he belongs. Because he doesn't know any better.
Antares always lived with Lucifers rule, he believes in freedom of the individual, and he knows heaven does not share that view. Hell is the only place he can just... well, be. He never would condemn those who stayed in heaven or believe in different things, however will defend their Kings views because he shares them.
" The light is dimming, the King is losing his battle... and yet we follow him. For all have abandoned us, except his hope and wishes... "
" How are you holding up? "
The advisor would approach the King, sitting down on the rock the other was sitting on. Lucifer did not react at all at first, light blue eyes just staring into the endless darkness of this plane. The hopes and wishes glistening in the distance. Hopes and wishes he knew he could... not fulfill...
" You don't have to check up on me every time... "
Antares rolled his eyes and nudged the King. Of course he did not have to, but... he worried about him too. As would anyone who knew the King this well. All smiles and blinding brightness, just to distract. This light now, that only made the dreams sparkle more as they reflected what he believed in... it was the self he could not hide from Antares.
" I'm... fine. " The king would mutter, before leaning his head against Antares' shoulder. He himself definitely was. Physically healthy. He should be happy with his homelife. It was just other parts that did not go perfectly... that bothered the King.
