☁ - If they’re caught out in the rain how do they react?

While getting caught out in the rain is one thing, getting caught unprepared out in the rain is another. Munakata has had his fair share of times to be caught in the rain, but not once has he allowed himself to be unprepared then. 

He doesn’t go out blindly, without any idea of his situation; instead, he likes to at least understand and comprehend everything. He has made it a bit of a rule himself to do so — knowing when, where, how and why he’s leaving his home or office is only necessary. Beforehand, he likes to check the traffic, so he will be able to travel freely without interruption; he checks opening and closing times for the stores he’s visiting, so he won’t have to wait outside for longer than comfortable; and he checks the weather, so he is prepared in the chance that it might get nasty. 

That being said, if he ever does manage to find rain in his forecast, or even a harsh wind, he will grab a small umbrella to carry with him — as a precaution.

♠ - What are they afraid of?

He has a mild fear of the future, and what it brings. While Munakata hardly ever shows much through his expressions, he is undoubtedly someone afraid of being wrong. He likes to make predictions towards the future, and is upset (often) when they fail to prove right.

Because the future is truly just like a game of Russian Roulette, and cannot be controlled by an outside force, it is ever-changing, and therefore unorganized. To be a man similar to Munakata, who’s plans and life are both set on a strict schedule, having change becomes irritable.

He doesn’t like the fact that the future can change so suddenly, and sometimes refuses to accept what it brings — mainly because it was the opposite of his predictions. He is only afraid of being confronted by the future, as it may not have been his own “set” fate to act in a certain way in his predictions.

I would say Tempest, performed by the Kennesaw State University Symphony Orchestra (2010) in terms of the tune of the song, and Lifeline, by Imogen Heap, in terms of lyrics and tune.

{ ☾ for a sleeping headcanon. }

Usually when he sleeps, Reisi is lying on his left side, and his facing forwards. He's not particularly reserved when resting down, and doesn't ever feel the need to curl up or keep his limbs close to the rest of his body -- while he may unknowingly pull them inwards if his blankets weren't providing enough heat, or he simply has a subconscious urge to keep them close.

However, he will never sleep facing up, or with his stomach to the bed, because it makes his stomach growl in retaliation. Looking into the matter, Reisi has an abnormal amount of stomach acid, and while it doesn't particularly harm him, it is quite a pain to manage when he wants to sleep; for instance, if it's thrown around mindlessly too much, then it will irritate his stomach and cause it to growl. He doesn't enjoy sleeping in a position that may keep him awake from the noise.

♦ - Emotional headcanon

                      —「♛」;; For as bitter and hardened as they are, Zoe is rather tear prone. Whether elated or miserable, their eyes will water. With immediacy they’ll evacuate vicinity, and generally deal with it themself. They only seek comfort on the Captain’s shoulder—they don’t trust anyone else to cry in front of them.

                      —「♛」;; One foot after the other, as standard. Steps are generally equivalent in distance. Pacing depends on with whom they walk—the lower the subordinate, the more distance they place between the two of them. It’s not some matter of snobbery, but rather to see if recruits can keep up. A small test, one to see actions. When with fellow veteran, they walk alongside, but sometimes in the front while facing the all of them. When solely with Commander, or with grandfather, they remain three steps behind exact.content

♞ - runs

                      —「♛」;;  Coiled muscle like a spring, Zoe’s running is best described as both quick and short lived. Energetic bursts thrust them at top speed, and they make their way to whatever happens to be the target. Normally, these are jovial times. Quickly enough stamina depletes and they proceed to making observation, because only interesting research subject can draw such strong attentions. On the field, they’re a bit more cautious with their energy reserves, running a bit slower but also maintaining themself longer.

♐ - fights

                      —「♛」;;  Fighting style developed for themself, the result of years of training as well as long nights of studying physics. They tend to hold out kills as long as they possibly can, so that titan can be caught under watchful eye. Zoe is playful in this right, enjoys teasing the beast before slicing out the nape. Each flick of their wrist, each leap taken is of the utmost grace, mirroring dancers from culture held onto so dearly. Zoe doesn’t fight to kill—they fight to learn.

♚ - sits

                      —「♛」;;  This of course, is entirely situational. Normally Zoe sits as any other would—legs slightly apart, leaning back in their chair. During interrogations or in presence of Sina nobles, as well as during casual conversation, they have the habit of crossing and uncrossing their legs. When consumed in research, eccentric develops a hunch in their back, and sometimes skips on decent sitting entirely, opting to sit on their feet curled into a small ball.

☾ - sleeps

                      —「♛」;;  There is reason for why they have preference of sleeping alone. Nights are oft troubled, characterized by tossing and turning, and the whimpering that accompanies it. When dream state is entered, they see what they failed to protect, they see failure. As such, they never get to sleep too long of a time. Zoe prefers to take their rest at odd hours, proving for a difficult schedule. It’s best that way. They won’t wake up anyone. If sleeping next to another and caught up in nightmare, they will certainly latch onto an arm. Of course, this is why Zoe is never there in the mornings. They simply do not allow anyone to see them that way.

Headcanon || #02 || Habit || Canon

                      —「♛」;;  Food both vitality and a representation of what humans are. Personality, skill, culture can all be read by sampling local cuisine. Cooking is an art as many say, but to Zoe, cooking is science. Cooking is chemistry, reactions and heat applies. But science is an art, so in turn cooking is the same. Food is much more than sustenance, it’s the only memory left of a mother and father gone too long. Food is preservation of a culture died out alongside the hum that always accompanies eccentric when they come out of hiding and into kitchen.

               Due to special circumstances surrounding their nature, Zoe hardly participates in tasks involving cleaning or food preparation, instead investing in research and strategic planning. When they cook it’s a bit of an occasion, and they draw out the process. No one else is allowed in the kitchen unless called for, but at the end of the day it’s entirely worthwhile. Though no where near a master chef, their food has a touch of warmth reminiscent of meals made by mothers. They enjoy the smiles that are brought along with it.
