The manor was certainly... impressive. But it wasn’t the size or the luxury of it that caught her attention so, but rather the energy surrounding it. Her master had been the most eccentric person she’d ever met, and his own home was much like this. Only... her master’s aura was inviting. And this place’s was quite the opposite.
Still, she was here for a purpose. With a deep breath and a quiet protection spell to keep the energy from clinging to her, Alice walked up to the front door and lifted the knocker, sounding it thrice and waiting to meet Mister von Gutermuth.
